Good signing, Pacey, technical player - all my spuds mates are happy with the deal but we should be to. Apart Aarons we have Obertan/Gouffran/Marveux/Thauvin who can operate wide but I'd say he's an upgrade on all of them so good business! Now we have 7 days to get a CLASS AND PROVEN striker. Then its up to players and staff to get us out of the relegation zone. If we stay up and invest again in the summer it could be an exciting 2016/17 season for us. Big IF though.
To be fair to McClaren [and I am rarely fair with him] he did say we would need three transfer windows. Summer will more than likely see an overhaul of the defence. If that is the case we may be able to go into 2016/17 full of optimism [provided we stay up.]
Exactly and it does take a bit of time to put your own stamp on things at a new club. The performances HAVE been getting better this year even if the results haven't but if we can kick on now and drag ourselves out the **** it'll be a hugely important summer!

Pato and Chelsea has been agreed. Remy is in talks with us now apparently over a loan move. Get him 'over the line' and we have had a decent window. We have enough to fight off relegation [in theory] and can then rebuild the defence in the summer.

What I am hearing is he has been training well and playing with the under 21's. I guarantee he will be one of those players who will make an immediate impact. Doing it on a consistent basis...we will have to wait and see but I reckon he will win is over straight off. Plus he basically shoots on sight I reckon that sort of direct play will see us safe and get the crowd up and behind the team.
He has been spotted at the airport. I'm happy with this one. He has pace to burn and is proven in the EPL and on the international stage.
