We can hate Barca as much as we want but when you possess ability like that it is the most effective way to play and win football matches. Strangle the life out of the opposition. City got what they deserved, if you don't attack you deserve to lose. 0-2 about right tonight.
They're a good YouTube team though, you have to sit through hours of boredom to see a great goal if you watch the games. Plus they didn't even dive too much today and that makes them even more unwatchable. I'd rather watch a non league game.
Down to 4th tonight. Could be 5th tomorrow night. Time to get back on form or in 3 more games we could be 6th and 4-5 more games 7th.
I find it strange that so many people slag off Barca and the Spanish National team. If England were World and European champions, maybe we could all slag them off for playing football how it should be played
I don't agree that playing possession football with no striker is "the way it should be played". Very effective it may be, but I don't enjoy watching it, save for the odd bit of excellent play.
4th the way we have played this year is amazing actually. Its not about slagging us off its about the poor football for many matches this season. Not having any proven goalscorers in the team. Its about poor management and coaching. If you go to matches and are happy with the football you watch that's amazing.
Damn, that result really hurts us, we have to match that result when we play Sheff Wed in March. Wigan also 2-0 winners and are creeping up the table, joining Brighton, 10 pts behind us. We really have to stabilize our bleeding of points.
Looks like Ben Watson suffered a season ending injury playing for Wigan tonight. Tough on him and Wigan as he's been looking really good of late.
...and I love the way all these people who hate to watch them, watch them anyway. Its the English way, never praise a winner, especially if they are foreign.
Yes, certainly possible if Forest beat Leicester - a draw would do nicely. Even Brighton didn't look too shabby in their FA Cup game with Hull yesterday that finished 1-1, so we definitely need to make our trip to Charlton count on Sat.
