That late Poland goal was actually bad for ROI - it means they'll have to win in Poland to get 2nd place, whereas a draw would have been enough if Poland had lost tonight.

 

England - Qualified.
Northern Ireland - Qualified.
Wales - Confirmed Playoffs, get 1pt from last 2 fixtures to qualify.
Republic of Ireland - Confirmed Playoffs, beat Poland and qualify.

Scotland - ****ed.

 

And they all go to the euro and play **** all and go home after the group stage.

I'd expect Portugal to do the same.

 

Northern Ireland have done brilliantly - but they'll need a friendly draw and some shocks to get through the groups.

ROI have bags of experience and will battle away if they get there. There should be better teams in their group, but you never know.

I genuinely think Wales are the ones who can really do something in France, though. They have a decent core of good players, and if all three of Bale, Ramsey and Ashley Williams are fit then they can beat anyone. Williams is absolutely essential.
