I honestly can't believe we've found two clubs mug enough to take Francis and McorCACK off our hands. I genuinely thought we were going to be lumbered with them until their contracts expired!!

This pre season has been a bit surreal for me... Actually being able to bring in young and genuinely talented players with proven pedigree at this level... whilst at the same time getting rid of some dead wood... Wow... this just aint the Charlton i know and love... <laugh>.

Right, new season's resolution. If Doc and Solly are staying next year, which it looks like, dispite relative disappointment in both their performances last season, I am going to be positive about them both for at least 10 games.

We have two at least competing for every position...no one else in thios league has such strength indepth we could put out 2 elevens that would be pretty even all bodes well....wouldnt wanna be CP though.

Rise n shine ! Albeit is 8:30pm here now ;)

No mikey, i do not know any Addicks here personally. When i wear my CAFC jersey to work of a friday in the office it catches the odd eye, once before an english chap was amazed to see it in oz being worn, he thought it would be liverpool from a distance.

Best mate is a gunners fan, and it is almost a given any ozzie here following english football is either Gunner/Pool/Chelsea/ManU.. just how fans work.

So did you emmigrate from these parts..i presume you must of ,doubt many Ozzies would pick us as their team of choice.

No, not at all. Aussie born and bred. I just naturally picked charlton years ago when i was starting to watch and follow the epl. Cant honestly say why either, destiny and fate !

Little did you know back then the rollercoaster ride you`d be on.Have you been over to the valley to watch any matches...bit of a long way to come I know.
Sometimes the journey from my house to the valley approx 50 mins door to door seems an arduous journey specially in recent seasons.

No i havent been to the uk yet, but it is a dream of mine that i sincerely hope one day i fulfil. I would love to come to the uk and see a few charlton matches, i really hope i do it some day.

We can swap oz, I'll live in oz for 6 months next ashes winter and you can stay here, i only live 4 hours drive from the valley!
