    Let's face up to reality. We are a team enjoying only our second season following our return to the Premiership whilst 5under1and are an established top 10 Premiership team, as their current position confirms, with European ambitions so, of course, they were bound to overhaul us at some stange.

    I can't say I'm surprised by Sunderland doing well under Martin O'Neill - he is a great manager.

    But, wish some people would **** off being so negative, we are a good team and have played well in majority of our games recently despite the results. If Gerrard never came on for Liverpool we would have a got a draw and we would all be happy, so smile :) we will pick up and I believe we will remain in 7th place and be there when the season finishes
