There was a statement from Fergie's lawyers at the end stating that he was friends with Mr Sim, but that he wouldn't loan players on his request. There was nothing denying the claims. Unless I've missed something?
Don't be ridiculous, Luke. From what I can see, none of this constitutes anything added to the brief verbal statements that were in last nights programme. One more time, if there is no substance behind Robsons' and Slippery Joe's claims, then where are the official denials.
Now you're just being totally ridiculous. NO official statement of denial has been issued by either Ferguson, or Man Utd. Why??? You're attempts to deflect, by trying to implicate others, including Redknapp (whose name was mentioned briefly, just once) and to try and make comparisons between that, and the situation involving Ferguson and Robson, are just laughable.
I'm sorry, Luke, but if sombody made, what I knew, were unfounded allegations like that against me on national T.V. I would put out an immediate rebuttal, and demand an immediate withdrawal of the allegations - Why doesn't Ferguson?? To those of us not wearing red & white tinted specs, his silence merely condemns him.
Comparing the scandal to HR's tax is a bit flimsy Luke, the evidence is yet to be revealed, or CPS balls up! We on the other hand have recorded video footage...not quite the same is it?
Redknapp, however, was not caught on camera having cosy meals with Robson's known associate - Slippery Joe. Robson, the person making these allegations, is the former captain of Man Utd - not Spurs. There is no evidence that Rednapp even KNOWS these people. There is, however, plenty of evidence that Ferguson DOES. Am I getting through the red & white haze that you see through, yet, Luke. Or is it totally impenetrable???
Redknapp could easily get out of any implicated wrongdoing by either suggesting that we loan out a lot of players at Spurs, which is true or by suggesting that he was following Ferguson's lead. He'd always be clever enough to use a buffer, anyway. Kevin Bond springs to mind.
