I did say there would be a few more twists and Stoke wouldn't roll over.

Strange because although I now want Stoke to put as many past them as possible, I've never wanted the mackems down. I like the derbies. If they lose, we beat QPR, we're safe. Even then, Southampton will be a tough game with them needing points and Sunderland depleted.

Sadly at the minute it's the only way i can be, bracing my self for d day, just can't see a positive outcome, after the derby and the liverpool game all my wishing full thoughts all went out the window

Even if the results go our way, which they won't we still will not help ourselves and take advantage as pardew is inept and we are bloody awful sadly its Bournemouth and co for us next year thanks to the yes man and fat mike

You really are Mr Negativity aren't you!

Stoke are ****e and need a second. If they get it, I then expect Di Canio to go ballistic and attack Robert Huth after a touchline confrontation between the Italian and the German (Huth knocks the ball out for a throw in to Sunderland but grabs the ball and won't give it to a Sunderland player, Di Cannio then goes bonkers). This is going to happen.

Very amusing, anyone else noted Mussolini's twitch? Pressure hasn't taken long to have him cracking. He's the next saggy bollocks at this rate.

If this stays the way it is then it makes things very interesting. And at least we'd have the psychological boost of not dropping into the bottom 3 if the worst happens and Wigan win tomorrow.

But Stoke have to see this one out first. Pulis will know it's a golden chance given that they have Spurs at home and then the Saints away.

Stoke also know they are safe if they win - Possibly the worst team to be playing against when you're losing 1-0 and down to 10 men. They are masters of breaking up play and holding on to leads.

If there's one thing I'm worried about here it's N'Zonzi or especially Whitehead getting sent off, given that they're both on yellows. You know Di Canio has told his players to milk any fouls for all their worth, and the ref will probably look to even things up.

A second Stoke goal would end it.

This could go right down to the wire.

We could really do with Sunderland losing tonight. It's times like these when your really come to realise that 6-0 is not just one result. Goal difference matters!
