Half Full, I can guarantee it wasn't anyone who agrees with most of what Jayram says So the cry babies are on one side of the divide. So Mr know-it-all, what is the name of someone who calls one group of people a name when it is, in fact, his own group who are guilty of said act ? It's rhetorical. And for the record, like I said, it doesn't matter what PISKIE wrote, I am not going to look for anything.
HH - I agree with line one and as the vast majority on not606 do not agree with most of his bile, it could have been any number taken from the many members. I am not part of a group, so line 2 does not apply. Line 3 - that's a cop out as you know that you would not be able to defend your master and fellow acolytes if you were to look at the thread in it's entirety.
But you are a part of a group, admit it. You are a part of the blind Faithers. Everything you post smacks of blind faith. Often, when I add 2 with 2, I get 4. If something looks like a chicken, makes noises like a chicken and tastes like chicken, there is a distinct possibility that the thing IS a chicken. You CLAIM the vast majority do not agree with his bile ? I counter claim that, in fact, they do and each week there are more and more voicing their opinions, many who were sat on the fence are beginning to realise that, the problem is in fact Wenger and his bizarre decisions.
ok time for some honesty, rather than you lot repeating the same lies until your pre-teen followers actually start to believe them. I do not have blind faith in anyone. Wenger has made some truly bizarre decisions & I have NEVER said otherwise. I certainly have not said I have blind faith in him. What I have done, and I believe this is true of a number of other posters, is try to counter the continued barrage of negative bleatings from a SMALL number of posters on this board. To criticise the manager, players, board is absolutely fine. There are often times (too many of late) that it is deserved and reasonable to do so. However, to see 20 new threads pop up by the same 3 or 4 people in the space of an hour, all repeating the same message is both OTT, boring and all too often exaggerated beyond belief. That the main antagonist also presumes to post his thoughts as fact just detracts from any validity the original point may have had. My view is that there are those that want AW out now. Some want him to stay until the end of the season and then go regardless. Some want to give him until the end of the season before deciding if he should stay or go. I have not seen anyone say that they believe he should stay for as long as he wants because they have blind faith in him. I could have missed such remarks, but do not think they exists anywhere other than in your imagination (pass the spliff) My firm belief with regards the membership of this board is that we all love our club, but some love playing the hating game and wallowing in self pity just a little bit more. Just look at the threads that came after last night's draw. How many posts were made purely to goad members that do not join in the daily attacks on the club, into a verbal fight? It was/is pathetic and I share some of the guilt by allowing myself to be drawn into the fray, when I really should have ignored the cretins and left them to fester in their own bile. Anyway, them's my thoughts (all of my own making too ) and they won't change a bloody thing....
Because people used the correct methods in accordance with the rules of the board and notified the Mods about Jayram. Whereas apparently he didn't. I have no desire for it to be an argument. There are silly comments posted from loads of people. I only join in when I see people being mean and getting personal - and yes, I've given PISKIE a good old fasioned telling off as well as everyone else
Half Full .. where do you think I lie, Wenger in, Wenger out or not sure, give him time ? Bonstar, you are very probably right. Anyway, I'll leave Jayram to fight his battles. One of the things that used to put me off the old 606 were repetition of articles, seeing an entire page made up of mostly the same thing is bloody annoying, I don't know why people can't just add their comments to one of the already started threads - I see why the mods merge threads .. rightly so
That's why I like this place - the threads go back to the top so you can keep commenting on them. I miss the ridiculous discussions filled with humour that used to happen on BBC. The cults of Nasri & Eboue. The fervour of Melo / Cana / Yaya when everyone was convinced ONE of them would sign. And when Vermaelen signed and NO-ONE knew how tall he was. The Ladies stories of the coach trips. Good times!
I wish it was that simple, I think there are a lot of floating voters, and their view will change from week to week. Ask the same question after the 8-2 mauling by manure or after 3rd consecutive defeat, majority I think would want him out, but do the same poll after a good performance (I know it has been pretty sporadic), then the outcome may be different.....
I have you marked down as an 'in out in out shake it all about' type Seriously, I reckon you're a give him a bit more time type of geezer?
LOL .. yeah spot on. It may not be clear in my posts but I have never actually said Wenger should leave, I want him to fix our problems, revert back to winning formulas and make us competitive again. For this to happen one or more approaches need to change. I don't actually even care who is to blame, I just want the problems fixed. In an ideal world I would see where we end up at the end of next season, if he cannot take us forward then I would be all for a new man coming in. Bonstar ... funny times. I used to like Dave Pundit, I was a fully fledged member of the cult of Eboue
You sound exactly like me. I can see the problems, I want them fixed. I don't care who fixes them. From what I recall you were Eboue's Publicist? How's he getting on? Did he retain your services after he moved?
We are not worlds apart then. If I were forced to make changes, I would have replaced Pat Rice ages ago with a strong #2 that would give AW something to think about, rather than be there to put the cones out. I would buy a top drawer creative MF if one were available, breaking the bank if needs be. Then I would go looking for a decent LB as we do not have one at the club. We have make do types, but we need someone of the highest quality if available. Finally, I would cut loose as many of those that so many of us believe to be dead wood (not Chamakh though - yet) if we can find anyone daft enough to buy them or take them on loan until we find buyers. Where I differ from many of the overly negative types is that I do not claim to know who is to blame for our not buying. I do not claim to know about anything of the inside workings of our club. I can guess & make assumptions, but that is all. I could not and would not have the bare-arsed audacity to come on here every 5 minutes to spout bollocks about this is a fact and that is a fact, while repeating the same old negative ****e again and again. All any of us can do is choose how we want to view things based on guesswork. I have chosen not to be a bleater on matters about which I cannot know the facts. I just wish more chose the same.
Bonstar - yeah Eboue's Publicist and Advisor. Looks Like I was sacked, he didn't take my advice to stay at Arsenal because he was adored and the subject5 of a cult on 606 and he has taken to Twitter and other social networking sites so doesn't need a publicist. Bastard ! Still, I aint mad at him Half Full - yeah, it doesn't look like we are far from having the same beliefs at all. The only way this club will get ALL the fans onside will be for a statement or statements to be released that explains why the decisions that have been made were made and, if the fans see significant investment in the squad. Other than that I can't see the fans being placated. Even if it gets to the stage where we get a new manager, if we get a series of bad results like this season the boos will ring out and the fan's anger will be prevalent. I think if we change manager the next manager will be filling big shoes and unless he wins trophies quickly he won't get much of a chance.
