No one's doubting him. Literally no one.
People are saying saying he isn't better than our current midfield.
No he's doesn't are you blind..I literally highlight the areas he's better in the op.. Ultimately he's right up there with them. Tonali actually has worse stats.

The bold stats in the big boxes clearly show Bruno has 2 more goals that Anderson and the same assists.
And trying to argue Anderson is better than Tonali is going down a rabbit hole of insanity.
The op says he's up there with them btw and imo Anderson is the better all around player. This idea people have that tonali is on another level is false and that's why I posted the numbers. They're all operating at the same level at the very least.
If you're only looking at goals then you're never going to understand or you're just being ignorant of the rest deliberately.
The numbers are clear, Andersons stats are better than Tonalis, I liked Anderson before I even checked them and I don't need the court of popular opinion to judge a player. Great players are identifiable before they're big names.
Our team literally went up massively in quality when Tonali's suspension was over and he ousted Anderson from the team.

Got to take into account of the three midfielders being compared, two are managed by Eddie Howe. Thats effectively a handicap, so Tonali must be head and shoulders above the others.
