Is it the case that footballers are banned from gambling all together? Or is that just an Italian thing. This suggests that if they were to go to a sanctioned casino and place bets they would be in breach?
It has to be a registered betting company in Italy. A legit one. The one Tonali used is overseas and not registered in Italy therefore illegal.
Oh well, Bowyer played well while he was trial, we may get a few months of Tonali being a worldie now before the ban...
But if there's no links to football, it's just a regular crime, so why should he be banned from football for it?
Betting on anything is against the rules for Italian footballers (oddly). Betting in an unlicensed casino, in person or on line, is a police case. Betting on your own team would certainly fall into the latter category. 2 + 2 = 6 ? I'll remain open minded until the it's actually clear what he's proven to have done, or is being charged with.
Where are the 'allegations' he has been betting on sport/football - and specifically in relation to Milan while he was playing for them? Any genuine sources, or just some crap click bait speculation? Entering a casino not officially registered in Italy is not the same as betting on football games you are involved in.
Wake up and smell the coffee. You sound like the bloke that ignores another man's snail trails on his bed sheets.
