Its all a competition, if we knowingly sign a crack addict and sell him to another team for profit I'd be alright with that. If Milan knew then fair llay it just makes good business sense to sell him before it came out.
It is the players fault and if it was lascelles none of you would be blaming Nottingham Forest you'd be hanging lascelles out to dry.
To summarise Ashworths interview now on SSN. What was your reaction when the news broke? You takin the piss? Is there a chance Milan could have known about it at the point of sale? ****s robbed us. Have you spoken to Milan since? Voicemail. Did you have a relationship with the agent before this deal and do you feel let down? Deal done via Zoom. Are you looking at at cutting Tonali's wages during his absence? Dole. If you knew this was coming, would you have signed him? 55 million to sit on your arse? Would you? Will he split the time between here and Italy? Yes, hopefully he comes back with an acca, help us with FFP.
He's going to get a ban extension if he's betting in the UK too. Rule this kid out lads, it's a loss. Move on and sign a replacement, ship him back to Italy in a year.
Is your guess. Either way; it's 10 months anyway and his attitude has stunk since his unveiling. Got no interest in his return either way. This rumour that he just has a sour personality is bollocks, plenty of evidence he was a completely different person at Milan. He doesn't want to be here.
It's the player's fault. But if AC Milan knew about this and then quickly sold him to make a buck before things went tits up, then it's the same as selling a car with a fault that will soon need a huge wad of cash spent on it. It's a sh*tehouse trick.
And you would still be able to claim **** all. Stop being greety faced bastards and let’s just admit we bought a duff
We have to just suck it up and get on with it. We can't sue AC Milan. Even if they knew about his problem or even an investigation, unless there was something in the sales contract that said they had to disclose all information which may impact on his ability to play for us then its buyer beware and down to a lack of due diligence on our part. As the ban has come about for something that has happened while he wasn't under contract to us then we probably have no recourse against him, although that might change if the PL investigation indicates he has been gambling on our games and the ban is extended. Best we can probably learn from this is to put a clause in all future contracts indicating that any players found gambling against PL rules will have their salaries stopped for any periods of bans imposed as a result of this, if that isn't there already. Tonali will be a miss. We need all the bodies we can get. Not sure that him and Guimares are good together though. Think the latter likes to be the main man and was a bit miffed when Tonali was getting all the early season adulation.
