Big day tomorrow, with one-day cricket, six nations rugby and the bloody football.

My predictions:

NZ to beat Aus and England to beat SA in the cricket.

France, England and Wales in the rugby.

City and Leicester 3-3 draw.

I reckon that at about 4.20pm tomorrow I will be sitting at LR bored out of my mind watching the R's draw 0-0 and wishing it was a sofa day. Laying on the couch and tucking into ribs and chicken wings a beer and watching the rugby with the cricket on in the other room and Sky Sports 1 on in the other. Watching Citeh v Leicester would be a great additional option but as Sky has put up their prices despite showing less football I refuse to pay any more out of principal for BT Sports. Perhaps I should **** Sky off as well.

But alas this utopian world doesn't exist. The dystopian one of spending an hour and a half driving the 15 miles to Shepherds Bush & witnessing yet another mind-numbing game from our League 1 set-up does though.

Australia, S.Africa

France, Scotland and Ireland.

City 3 Leicester 1

That's me that is!

I used to feel this way when I had to go to work the next day. Now it's about going to QPR. It's gotten so bad I wished I was working tomorrow so I don't have to go. That's never ever happened to me before. I think that I am now officially a miserable old xxxx. :emoticon-0142-happy

I'm the same Nines, which is the gist of my OP really. I'm thinking about all the good stuff tomorrow and how Rangers will most likely spoil it. It's going to be tough dragging myself away from the Pavilion with the rugby just about to come on the TV.

I'm the same Strolls, although I prefer watching sport at home alone so I can concentrate on what's going on. I struggle to do that in a pub. Although I do enjoy the collective crowd and atmosphere in a pub, especially during the world cup games. I think I'll be in the White Horse ( tbc ) but will find it a struggle to leave.

Couch potato mode for this weekend...

NZ and England in the cricket...

France, England and Ireland in the Rugby...

2-2 at Man City...

Predictions?
Too late for Aus, they've already beaten NZ
Unfair to predict SA v England as SA have a very slow start, England should win
France, Scotland (don't think the English will 'get' Jones so fast, and any team with Robshaw has issues), Ireland
City 0 Leicester 1 my wishful thinking one.

France England Wales
City 4 Foxes 1...bubble burst....
and I cannot think of anything finer than going out in this swirling hurricane wind, blowing freezing cold rain from all angles with the Hammersmith and City line not functional to see my gallant lads
Come on uRRRRs

Even with the slow start, the bookies have had SA as favourites nearly all the way. Even with a target of 263, they only make England marginal favourites. I'm on England at 13/8.

Just realised the Calcutta Cup game kicks off at 4.50, so we can get back to the pub and only miss a few minutes. Excellent.
