Is he ever likely to start a PL game this season? I cannot see it unless a serious injury crisis.

Same goes for Joe Mason who possibly should have been sent on loan.

May still be yet - but Malky has already said he's turned down several requests from other managers as he sees him an integral part of our squad.

As for Smithy, he's a usefull utility player with experience, and someone Malky rates highly. Getting a start is another matter.
 
Have to admit i like Smith as a player as always gives 100% for any club he has played for , wished a few yrs ago he played for us and now he does .

Jo a player for the future and such a clever player off and on the ball but needs to be cultured and in Malkie i trust
