Tomlin - if fully fit would you play him tomorrow?

If we assume Tomlin is the attacking mid, Ralls is more box to box, we need a defensive mid. Does Bacuna have the ability and discipline to fill that role?
more questions to answer, but a few more options for colin. We need to maintain the attacking edge, home AND away.
Was concerned, like others, with Colins comments last night about Tomlin being a home option.

 

The way our midfield is Joe Ralls is going to be wrecked by XMas. Hes not just box to box hes covering every blade of grass.

He needs support in the middle and Bacuna isnt good enough.

 

Trouble is we don't have many options with Pack out for up to 2 months. Vaulks who looks off the pace, Paterson - is he mobile enough for central midfield and gives away too many fouls if played in front of the back 4, Nelson - untried at this level plus Jazz and Bamba when fit. neither of these are permanent solutions

Looks like letting Damour go was not a good move - not that he's any better than what we have.

 

With Arter and Camarasa gone, Ralls is out on a limb. He needs an out when he's got the ball. Someone needs to fetch it from him instead of him having to try to play the killer pass and failing.

Tomlin is the obvious answer and I'd like to see that happen on a regular basis if he can stay fit and focused.

 

Well that was what Pack was brought in for but he’s out for 2 months.
