But agree, quite ridiculous, especially when you consider how readily the first 5 pulled clear - they were clearly a cut above.

Agree.

I'm a big fan of TO'B and don't think this punishment is proportionate to the alleged wrong doing.

Glad you all agree.

I know the stewards have their job to do but isn't it better for the sport for the best young riders to get as much experience as possible at the Big Show?

He's appealing apparently so hopefully the powers that be will see sense.

One solution would be for them to reduce the ban to 4 days, then he could ride at the festival as there is a Grade 1 race on each day <ok>

Maybe we should petition them Bob giving them all the instances we see of far worse heinous crimes against the punter!

1. A P McCoy's ride on Snake Eyes

2. AP on My Tent Or Yours @ Newbury... Oddy blew the swear box up coz of this one...<laugh><laugh>

Saying that he has won on him twice since...

Lol Dex <rofl> you hate this one, imho there's plenty worse than Always Waining.

What I don't understand about this ban is it means they watched the race and let AP off his Snake Eyes ride!?

Humans, plan A is that he is national bound and the weights are out already.

<laugh><ok>....I don't hate the horse George...just the cheating connections!!

Maybe he'll do both!...I think Churchtown Boy won the Topham before running second behind Rummy two days later in the National.

Unlikely to happen these days.

I also remember Chinrullah running in the 1980 Cheltenham Gold Cup on heavy ground the day after winning the Champion Chase!....think he finished fifth.
