With respect I can't think of one person on here who said we're world beaters & we're going up (ok maybe Simon21 but he's illogically positive!) Most of us were upbeat as it appeared Warnock had somehow worked his magic and tightened up a poor defence with the distinctly average players at his disposal. That's why last night's result is all the more demoralising.
As for Warnock's mistake of fielding the same team, Brown's our oldest player and yet one of our better players last night so tiredness shouldn't be an excuse for the rest of them.

Reminds me of our old League 1 team.

Thats the thing John charles, is our league one team any worse than this team?

I seriously doubt that I think its probably better!!!

With regards to Tom Lees aswell I think he was wrongly singled out by warnock post west ham that must have knocked his confidence.

Agree on the League 1 bit! Just need a damn good manager to mould it right and have good squad players when the injuries and the winter drudgery sets in.

As for the West Ham singling out issue, I think Warnock was half right - Tom's ability to outmuscle other players is non-existent - happened again last night, he was beaten in the air for someone to head in past him.

On West Ham goal, Warnock is the one who is choosing that we do not have any defenders on posts at corners. I watched closely last night - never did we have a defender on the posts at corners again. If our defenders are going to be beaten 50% of the time at heading the ball from a corner, it's daft not having players on the posts. That's "basics" Colin.

Seriously Liw.......just seriously. He's 21, you can see the ability and he's shown he's a good centre back (Boro ect) but not the experience. Neil just needs to smack him round the head and tell him to mark people instead of staring at the corner taker. Who don't you slate Liw? What's next? Warnocks tactically inept? Snodgrass has no talent? McCoramcks a one season wonder?

I didn't see the forest game and I really have no intention of watching any sort of extended highlights because I don't really want to put myself through that but I do think Tom Lees has shown proof this season that he has the potential to be a good CB. Issue is O'Dear is playing alongside him one side and Connolly the other. Connolly last season seemed quite reliable to me, this season he seems different in the respect that he has a good game when Leeds play well but when it is against us, hes ****ing ****.

say we have a squad of 28 players, 20 of those aren't good enough to get us up. It's just totally not good enough.

Which 8 in our squad are good enough I ask you?

I can think of the following: Lonergan, Lees, Robinson, Clayton, Snoddy, McCormack which is only 6

I used to think White when he played LB was good enough, but on the wing he just hasn't got the quality. Becchio is very debatable. Plus Somma has been a big miss this season.

Somma wasn't first team last season and for a reason, because he is lazy. Technically and positionally quite good but he never got himself involved enough, I'm not gonna say he is good enough to get Leeds United promotion. White for me isn't a defender, gets pushed off the ball a lot and I know its irrelevant but can't take a throw-in. I've shared my views on Becchio prior to this.

Anyhow it is diabolical when you have that few players who are good enough in your squad, one of them in a loanee as well

Call up Mr. Bates and let us know what his response is.

This is what happens when a club sells player after player and brings in loanees and feebies.

Shall we discuss why KB is no good for Leeds again or is it still just ticket prices he has wrong for you, Josh?

Where in Aus are you Josh, I want to give you advanced notice that I am hoping to visit early next year. :emoticon-0112-wonde

<laugh> I said lack of investment and ticket prices if you remember correctly, it also doesnt help when Grayson did get money and spent it on crap (i.e. Pugh)

And Im currently living in Brisbane.

Brisbane is not on the itinerary so you are safe. :emoticon-0116-evilg

I also think 500k for Pugh was not good but I still think the salary cap they have killed any chance of a decent signing.

At least you have got two of the issues right. :eek:k:

Calypso, you recorded the game from where?

Johnny LA, i recorded the game on skytv in New Zealand, i thought the fact we scored 3 goals and were level with them at around the hour mark seems to point to a lack of fitness, or general fatigue. but like some people have pointed out, PROFESSIONAL football players should be able to play 2, o even 3 games a week with no problem

It is these sort of comments why people can't and don't take your opinions seriously... I have only seen Leeds play once this season, I wish it was more but sadly it isn't. I have watched every live game on TV and you being in Australia have seen enough of Connolly to know he is ****?

Lees is a young lad who reacted badly to Warnock's comments after the West Ham game. Results will ring confidence and idiots on here slating our own players all the time will not help.

Fact is we lacked leaders on the pitch against Forrest I am sure this will be sorted out in the summer.

How many games do I need to watch before commenting. Sorry, I'm still trying to work out these rules....

I really try not to bring it down to just constantly insulting you but continuously you make it so much harder

Just asking which games you have seen this season where Connolly has played ****? I assume it has to be one of the TV covered ones? Just curious which games you are basing the remark on in an attempt to understand you more.
