Rosenior and McShane are exactly the types too! I am stunned that various folk see Aluko, Elmo and Ince ready for the door at a price; I am really eager to see the promotion winners available at a cheaper price. The transfer waltz has not even started playing yet and we need to protect the likes of Brady and Robertson who I think will be strongly chased and hard to keep. Once we lose one or two the others will review their positions and look farther afield than the KC. I'll not mention strikers as Aluko is an attacking midfielder and we desperately need to convince Jelavic to stay, the other two (N'Doye & Hernandez) should raise funds for a strong bid on a proven larker and one up-and-coming. Bruce and Allam need to be very bold if promotion is their goal.
Derby tried to do promotion last season on the cheap / borrow. Unless they sell say Will Hughes why should anything have changed ? Paul Clement there new manager has not been cheap either for the Rams.
Unless we play them early August and then sell Ince to them afterwards. Transfer window to close 1st september @ 6pm prompt. !!
Why would he? He was obviously managed a lot better at Derby. I know McClaren's gone but Bruce hasn't.

£6M for Ince all up front would be incredibly good business and would help our transfer kitty considerably this summer. I would like to keep him and I can't see him going to Derby now they haven't been promoted.
Ince was mishandled by Bruce from Day One. I for one dont blame the young man (and his dad) for looking elsewhere. He could have been a significant contributor for us in the Championship. Now it seems that Derby have taken advantage of our contractual naivete. It seems that this loss, and the Austin debacle, may come back to haunt us. Sheer ineptitude on behalf of management !!
Geeze keep embarrassing yourself mate. I went to 13-14 games last season. And watched every single game of this season on TV. I've long said Aluko will be a quality player ot have in the Championship. I have no idea where this mystical agenda has come from that you have against me but can you kindly do one.
If it's 5-6m then sure, it's a great thing to have. But honestly, why was it put in? Scenario A, he goes to Derby and is ****, and we'd probably want to get rid of him regardless of if we stay up. Scenario B, he goes to Derby and is brilliant and we stay up, we'd want to hold out for as much as we can get from Derby, so what's the point in putting a clause in. Scenario C, he goes to Derby and is brilliant and we go down, we'd want the chance to keep him. In Scenario A Derby wouldn't trigger the clause and we'd either loan out again or sell - clause is irrelevant. In Scenario B the clause would be relevant only if it's up around the 5-6m mark. In Scenario C, the clause would be relevant and would shoot us in the foot. So we've gambled on the 33.3% chance of us staying up, him going brilliantly for Derby, and them shelling out a significant outlay for him.
For 6m he can go. Good bit of business tripling our profit within 12 months, and could easily be reinvested in 2-3 players.
