So many people are coming out with sweeping statements to back up their arguments that are simply untrue. Idiots.
You don't keep a player who isn't performing for you in hope. The fact he suddenly looks amazing for another team is a little harsh on city to be honest. Happens a lot I know but there's not much we can do. We weren't going to change the whole team to fit him and wait on him to fulfil his potential. He was given a lot of time, far more than Ghilas and others (not that he was good in the first place) to do his part for the team but always seemed slow on the ball and his passing was sideways. Glad he's doing well but I don't see it as a loss. If you're gonna get a kid of 17/18 years old in the hope he becomes good by 21/22, he's got to still perform in the mean time, can't just drag him along and give him a spot in the starting lineup he doesn't deserve.
Well I like the way lambies stats/ facts piss all over what some of the idiots were claiming. And to be honest those stats surprised me. I knew before he got injured at Doncaster Brucie DID fancy him and he was his first choice midfielder.
I'll always remember when he was injured for a match after scolding his shins with hot water whilst shaving them. I always found him quite disappointing and ineffective.
I see Cairno was giving it the big "Me! Me! I scored that" thumbs over shoulders indicating name on shirt gesture on Fri night.
Neither you or Olm no if he will be in the Premier League in two years, OLM clearly thinks he will you think he won't. Don't portray your opinion as fact. You also have no idea whether any manager has enquired about him. I hope he is back in the Premier League, last year he had the best pass completion in the Championship and was named in countless website's Team of the Year. I rate him, he made the right move for him going to Blackburn but wrong one for us.
Since he left we've been to a semi final, a final and qualified for Europe, as well as stayed up. No complaints from me.
Cairney injured and possibly out for 3 months august 2012, days later we sign Quinn as his replacement. Brucey obviously liked what he saw in Quinn and preferred him. Do keep up Blampey.
So he got rid then, Cairno's playing in the Championship and we're playing in the PL Piece of piss, this keeping up
People questioning Cairney's ability, potential or fortitude to play in the Premiership don't have a clue what they are talking about. Cairney and Cooper being led astray by Bullard is a large reason that they were both moved on.
Bullard had long gone by the time Brucey arrived, he had nothing to do with their transfers. Cooper wanted first team football and he requested the transfer, as did Tom. Both were told they had a better chance of first team football outside of Hull City, so both decided to move on, it's not rocket science and they certainly weren't forced out the club. It was a similar scenario with Corry Evans, whom I also really rated. Cairney was a really nice lad, quite down to earth and while he had the same ego as most young footballers, he was by no means a massive **** (I've met him a few times, we have mutual friends).
Another good season and he continues the way he is playing then he will be one of the most sort after players in the Championship. People on here tend to play down Cairney as a player because they are showing support to Bruce and see he can do nothing wrong.
