I'm leaving them here to show the example, but this is why we like to move posts off one thread and onto their own when people are pushing their luck. If we leave them on the thread they start on then 6 days later and after the poster has been banned we still get people quoting them and bringing it back up.
HDM are reporting we've turned down £350k from Blackburn and are holding out for double that. I'd be delighted if we got £500k since it's a player who obviously can't feature in Bruce's thoughts and who's out of contract in the summer. Use that towards a loan player and it's an extra £10k a week towards wages we can offer the parent club.
I'd take 500k for him. I always hoped he'd come good for us,he does have class. I just hope we have a good sell on clause.
I sell him for £200k if we can put a 50% sell on clause in his contract. I think carries on this way is he could be a £5m player the end of next season.
I assume Bruce is waiting until the Livermore situation is resolved. If a permanent is agreed, 500k for Cairney and a like amount for Fryatt/Stewart combined would be a nice offset for Jake's 3.5 mill. fee.
I wonder what Pro's value is in the transfer market right now. We might be lucky to get 250k for him. He has potential IMO...just only showed flashes of it with us. Could surprise us in the years ahead.
According to the Hull Daily Fail they bid £350k which was rejected, and SB indicated they would need to double it.
Pretty sure his agent said in an article that a few German clubs had contacted us about his availablity. He might not have much of a value to English teams but as a proven goal scorrer in the German 2nd division (including being the top scorer) he has to have a decent value to them.
