Also it is on record that many of the targets AN identified were not attained!

Sorry Dave but that is stating the bleeding obvious!! The manager has to sell the club to prospective signings, but if the players price themselves out of the market they won't come. Bear in mind this manager has just lost us the biggest payday in the clubs history and the chance to at least try to compete in the big league.

We have been a Premier League team for 4 of the last 5 seasons yet Afobe chose Bournemouth over us ?.
He was worth £10M

ILD, I accept your right to your opinion, but neither you, nor anybody else will ever convince me that our relegation was the fault of Alex Neil, we played superbly in some of our matches, yet the same players played like a pub team in a lot of other matches!

And that's the fault of the board is it? It's HIS team, he has to motivate them to perform EVERY week!

Of course it's not the fault of the board, it's the fault of the players, it seems a few of them put in a good shift and then rest on their laurels for a game or two!

Remember how Wessi would be man of the match and then go missing for a few games? Was that the fault of Lambert, Hughton, Adams and Neil?

Yes it is, they are/ were managers, their job is to motivate the team. As you said in a previous post, sometimes we played well (very rarely) other times we were absolute ****e. Who is responsible? The buck stops with the manager, not the board, not the tea lady, not the fans.....
