Apparently facing a club internal inquiry, so I'd imagine this is an option they'd look at. With the clubs public stance on racism so strong, there's little room for manouver here, problem being it is a position we need to strengthen in during the summer

I am not a Todd Kane sympathiser, but he has been stitched up by the FA. Hounslow is sooo much better than us!
Reading the Club's statement on the Official, there was no racist comment involved here, only nationalistic and that in response to similar language from the Brentford player, who denied calling Kane "English". Dickie witnessed Kane's version that the Brentford player did, but the Brentford player got no penalty though he had no witness support of what he said!
It's another storm in a teacup for me, with our player getting penalised, theirs not. Hard to believe this level of insulting behaviour isn't commonplace in football. It's the racist comments that need stamping out.
As a club we were surprised to learn the individual views of one opposition player have been believed by the FA while the views of two of our players were rejected, particularly given that both were praised by investigators for their forthright testimony.
The club are not happy ...and asked the supporters to be careful on social media.

Proper stitch-up, wish they'd given us more context in advance or here's an idea kept it off of social media until this statement. Look at the ****ing stupid comments on here from folk clearly not bothered to read the actual statement. Context is king.
I bet Kane disagrees with the whole process and probably thinks it's cancel culture.
He seems to live in a world where he's a fantastic player who just hasn't been recognised for how great he is, and he shouldn't be pulled up on things like this because he's so great.

I hope the club go on the war path, here. Not to change Todd's punishment, but to challenge why the Hounslow player has been completely vindicated.

I don't really see how reading the full statement provides a defense for Kane. He admitted saying it.
Also, and this is just my personal take on things, what is the chance of a Spanish player randomly abusing one of many English players he meets in an English league based on his English nationality? Why would he single him out for his English nationality? I'm not saying it's impossible but it is unlikely.
To me, it sounds like Kane was just trying to get out of trouble.
I actually disagree with the club even including that part. The statement seems to hope to make QPR fans doubt the findings of the investigation, edging them towards believing Kane's viewpoint when the investigation found otherwise.
you would have thought, that with no crowds and more things being picked up by microphones, social media being monitored by Big Brother and the fact he was caught out recently stating how much better he was than a team mate, he should have kept his mouth shut and done the talking on the pitch. Sympathy the support from his colleagues was not recognised but Kane isnt a kid, and should know better.
