Jose Manuel Rojas, Spanish centre back alleged to have signed (according to his club's website). His current club is Club Deportivo San Roque. Know nothing about him, obviously Veterre's work. Wonder if the signing of a new Spanish centre back will impress a certain MikeyTyson...?

Sky claims we are interested in Mark Marshall, Barnet's midget winger. Seems the last player we should be signing. He is already 24 and being playing in the lower divisions since a junior so unlikely to develop that much more. Maybe another Jamal Campbell-Ryce?

At this rate we shall be able to put out our THIRD eleven against Preston in the Cup.

certainly looks as if Vetere has been on his travels in Spain and has made some sort of deal for this player who is to be "incoporated" due to the excellent relationship between CAFC and San Roque and will be "reporting to Chris Powell tomorrow". It appears that Vetere was also looking at Sevilla and I wonder whether he found someone there that could be "incorporated"

It looks as though there is some form of training link up going on here with Rojas, who only signed for San Roque on 31st July this year form Real Jaen. at the age of 16 he joined Atletico Madrid, where he remained until twenty. From there went to Talavera, where he played six games, Atletico Pinto and Puertollano before Real Jaen He is 24 years old, 6ft 3ins and 85 Kg and had a "meniscus" (knee cartilage) injury earlier in his career. Possibly an exchange deal going on?

There now saying our bid was rejected, possibly a good thing, I'd much rather a young striker <ok>

When I saw this I wondered whether it was down to Waggy being seen as the 4th striker, and Green needed a back up.

Benson is having medical at Bradford city today.

Mates who have season tickets thought that barnets winger looked very good against them on Saturday, played on the left, so could be back up to Jackson?

I've often seen waggy as a good 4th choice striker myself, but getting another winger seems a bit like over kill to me. If waggys on the bench he can be brought on as either winger or forward, plus we have pritchard who can play there and Harriot (assuming he can play right as well as left) so I think we're more then covered

Not a dig at you personally, Haysey, but in so many posts discussing our strength (or otherwise) on the wing it is always Harriott who is mentioned rather than Davisson, but Davisson is 30 months older and it is Davisson who CP names on the bench from time to time. Yet he is an invisible man as far as this board is concerned.

I also think if Bover gets any chances it will be on the wing, at least until he beefs up a bit, and he would be ahead of Harriott in the queue too.

ScratchingCat The link is Jiminez he has some sort of holding at San Roque as well as Charlton. He also has an interest in the stadium outside Seville where we played this pre-season.

Not a bad shout Eddie, tbh I always thought of davisson as a CM, but then again the only time I've seen him was at welling when he played LM and wasn't half bad! Bover could also play there, which IMO means we definitely didn't need an extra winger <ok>
