I think you need to look up the word trawling, it’s pretty dead over here, a week’s worth of posting can be had in 1 thread and three posts.

It's been quiet because we haven't had a football match in over a fortnight. If you want to see a real graveyard on the Premier League forum - check out the Man City, Everton, Forest, West Ham, Wolves, Bournemouth, Brentford, or Brighton pages.

My visiting actually started due to you having some glory hunting supporter

First time I've heard an Ipswich fan being accused of 'glory hunting' <laugh>

Well he was all over our forum when you were top of the championship, he was full of himself when you were signing the likes of Clarke and KP thinking Leeds wanted them back (we never did) but he is nowhere to be seen now that relegation is looming, he definitely cannot claim that he supports Ipswich through thick and thin.

These forums are strange, the largest one is probably the Hull board, followed by Sunderland, Newcastle always used to be a busy one over here.

So for you the definition of supporting your club is posting on this forum? Alright, then. This explains a lot!

Well he is hardly going to be a season ticket holder living in Spain, you stupidly assuming what my definition of supporting a club means and missing or probably ignoring the point completely explains a lot more.

Enjoy the sunny weather and stop getting your pants in a twist, let the Leeds United hatred go, it's not good for you bottling all that hate up

Hope you accept this as a serious question. Last year Meslier was the GK in championship team of the year. Didn’t understand it then and still not sure about him. Granted, only see the highlights rather than full game but is he up to the level you want? For me, he was 1 of the reasons you didn’t go up last year (though getting 90 pts and not going up is ridiculous - don’t get me started on the fairness of the play offs). This season again, he seems to cost points. I know it’s easy to say as every time a keeper makes a mistake, it normally results in a goal. Are you happy with him or would you want him replaced?

The season we went down, he made some basic clangers, what saved him, we beat Chelsea at home and Liverpool at Anfield, still weird we beat both and got relegated but another story, he got mom against Liverpool his one and only.

Last season he cost us points and we all wanted him replaced, we signed the Wales keeper Darlow who last season was on loan at Hull and had been a stand out player.

Farke continues with Meslier and no word of a lie, he has cost us 10 points minimum this season, most believe he is the worst in the division, Farke came out and said he is the best keeper in the division, we don’t see him in training.

Sorry balls to training, if he’s not doing it on match day then he needs to be dropped. Farke has signed us some good players this season but he’s out coached too often.

I honestly believe we have the best team in the division with a bottom 5 keeper and a bang average coach. We’re starting to get concerned as the defence do not feel comfortable with Meslier in goal.

If we fail to go up I hope Farke gets the push, he’s been gifted a great set of players, it’s on him if we fail

If we go up and keep Meslier as first choice we’d be worse than Southampton this season

Is my cousin who lives in Canada not an Ipswich Town supporter anymore? Please explain your logic. I’m all ears.
You were flying high with back to back promotions, Spanish was revelling in it, he was jumping on opposition forums being a right prick, it was constant, not just the Leeds one, he was doing it to others too.

He was loving the build up to the season, he was still relentless with taunting, the minute your season collapses he vanishes, hence my comment of “glory hunter” a prick when the going is good, when you hit a tough time, he vanishes.

YOU then decided to assume my definition of supporting your club was posting on a forum, a bit of a strange comment, the only way Spanish could support his team is TV or debating on a forum as he lives in Spain, hence why I said he can hardly be a season ticket holder

I’ve either got a crossed wire on your initial comment or intention, or you have on my reply. Probably best leave it there.

Well no ristac, you can’t have it both ways. Either I have to draw assumptions about what you mean or you explain it.

Thank you for explaining the glory hunting aspect. It’s not most people’s definition I have to say, but if it’s yours that’s up to you. I’m still not clear on your definition of a supporter. How does a season ticket come into that? What if you can’t afford a season ticket?

Thank you for explaining the glory hunting aspect. It’s not most people’s definition I have to say

Define Glory Hunter:
  • Definition:
A glory hunter is someone who chooses to support a team based on its current success, trophies, fame, or reputation, rather than a genuine connection to the club's history, location, or culture.
  • Perception:
The term is often used by lifelong supporters of a team to criticize individuals who appear to switch their allegiance to a team that is currently winning or performing well

Yep found it, v happy i will be able to watch the match, then off to watch my daughter play and finally back home to watch the mighty Barça stuff the ****ers from Madrid!!

Your game vs Liverpool

I've turned over and watching Athletico Madrid v Villareal, can't watch that **** boring football anymore. No attempt to get forward and score, it's a disgrace!!

There are lots more..

I’m still not clear on your definition of a supporter. How does a season ticket come into that? What if you can’t afford a season ticket?
I thought I had explained it, you commented about forum posting defining what one is, I misunderstood your point and said Spanish living in Spain can hardly be a season ticket holder (so how else can he show support other than forum posting and TV).

NO you don’t have to be a season ticket holder to support a team In My Opinion

Not watching it , do West Ham have flip flops on ?
I’ve turned it off, wife wants the TV back on and it’s boring now, very even, West Ham 1 shot on target, Wolves only two but did hit the woodwork

Wolves showing too much quality to go down to be honest with you. If they hold on to the win it’s a tall order for you guys to get 4 wins and a drawer
