We look so much better than the teams around us, but I think Sutton have the best run in and a game in hand, and look like the big rivals for third place. FGR and Exeter should fill the other places.
Fantastic result today from the lads, they deserve a lot of credit for getting in this position. Unless we start throwing it away the play offs beckon,. As for automatic promotion, it will be tough but you never know.
Oh wow - what a thrilling game and result. The fitness and desire our players showed to defeat one of our main rivals was very impressive, especially after going behind so early. We need to win all three of our remaining games to have a chance of auto promotion but with the character, desire and quality that we have right now that is definitely achievable. It's going to be another massive game on Sat v FGR - can't wait!
Goal difference could be key here. Could end up being the difference between play offs and auto's. Only Tranmere, Mansfield and Newport have a lower goal difference and Mansfield could change this as they have a game in hand. If we can gain a plus 10 goal difference from FGR, Rochdale and Scunny, this could help make the difference. Tough ask though.
Gavin Ward is todays match official, he has been in charge of 34 matches this season issuing 136 yellow cards and 4 red cards Todays line up v FGR Belshaw, Anderton, Hoole, Taylor, Connolly, Coutts, H Anderson, Evans, Finley, E Anderson, Collins Subs Jaakkola, T Clarke, Nicholson, Thomas, Whelan, Loft, Saunders Scunthorpe 2 - 0 down to Bradford, Oldham 1 - 0 to Salford the only goals in league 2 First yellow Ebrima Adams for simulation, 19th minute. Ross Joyce is our ref for Saturdays match v Rochdale, in 12 league 2 games this season he has issued 36 Yellow cards and 1 Red an average of 3 yellows per game and average of 23 fouls per game, could be an interesting match with Finley walking a tightrope of two yellows to miss the next 2 games, or 2 yellows which equal 1 red if it comes down to the playoff's he would miss the home and away semi finals
Todays line up V Rochdale Belshaw, Hoole, Grant, Taylor, Connolly, Coutts, H Anderson, Evans, Finley, E Anderson, Collins Subs Jaakkola, Anderton, Nicholson, Thomas Whelan, Loft, Rodman Luke Charman Rochdale 1 - 0, 11th minute Rochdale scored one had one blocked Rovers missed one had one blocked, looking at Sam Frost we are not exactly looking as if we could win this game needs improvement 2 - 0 Rochdale no2 for Charman 17 minutes gone Now we know why they extended the deadline for season tickets at last seasons prices, league 2 again next season

Since the 15th of January we have played not including today 23 games conceding 12 goals. Today we change formation and the defence and concede 2 goals in 17 minutes An interesting Summer lies ahead 5 loan players 3 who will go to higher division clubs 2 who haven't been given much game time who wont want to return Evans and Nicholson who are I think out of contract and will probably and will probably play at a higher level and Finley and Collins who most certainly could play at a higher level things look a little bleak as far as I can see for playing staff next season Sam Finley in the 53rd minute 2 - 1 Sutton have also Equalised Evans just missed another chance to score not his finest performance for us today
I may be dense and blinkered at times, but I've got to say this is the last thing I expected today, can.t believe how the 1st half has played out, what a time to fall to pieces - gonna either be the 2nd half performance to beat all 2nd half performances, or a complete crock of ****! Got a horrible feeling it could be the latter.
Keohane is yellow carded for tripping Collins as he ran towards goal Rovers wanted the card colour to be Red O Keefe on the hour 3 - 1 to Rochdale Rovers out of play off places on GD 66th minute Aaron Collins 3 - 2 Thomas took a touch to many and the third goal went begging in the 68 th minute Max Taylor yellow carded for pulling Collins shirt Exeter have now scored v Northampton 1 - 1 FGR 3 - 1 down Dale sub Cashman on for Done and Clarke replaced by White. I follow have given the goal to E Anderson not Collins Paul Coutts gets Red carded in the 98th minute FT 3 _ 4 to ROVERS
OH MY GOD! What a game! We have a guaranteed playoff place and a massive shot at the autos. Never say die Rovers - that Billy Elliott is a Gas legend already! UTG!
Rovers 4 th on GD Port Vale and Mansfield both have a game in hand but 2 points less Port Vale have a better GD but if they both draw those games in hand then it will be whoever has the best result between us and Northampton for the last automatic place if they draw and we win league 1 here we come Highlights will be worth watching this week No Coutts for the next match after his red card
