28 minutes gone no shots on goal from Rovers according to I follow live text

Following the game on live text have come to the conclusion watching paint dry would be more pleasurable, still we haven't conceded a goal yet which surprises me given the number of shots on goal the have had

    Anderton replaces Brown HT
Newport 5 - 0 up v Stevenage maybe our result wasn't so bad after all

With Pitman off injured are we just trying to keep the ball out of our net as both substitutions have been defensive ones

Anderton scores for ROVERS 64th minute

Nicholson has goal disallowed for offside 81st min

Who saw that result coming, I suppose Massive will have the points for the goal time, can't win them all can we

Interesting results in the premier league today

Liverpool held at home, Man city defeated at home and Burnley won, as did Chelsea

7th in the away form table and 12th in the home form table now. I'm pretty sure we've turned the corner now, and can enjoy the climb towards the playoffs etc.

It was a good result yesterday against a team that’s been very strong at home. Our defence and midfield were a lot stronger than they have been recently.

However, until we put together a run of wins - or even back to back victories - then I’ll remain to be convinced that we’ve turned the corner. There’s been too many false dawns for me.

Not too bad. There are some tough games coming up, and the home form needs to improve but by the new year things should be fine imo.

Belshaw, Harries, Taylor, Kilgour, Anderson, Grant, Finley, Couts, Whelan, Evans, Nicholson

    Subs
Ward, Martinez, Hoole, Jones, Spence, Westbrooke, Collins, Langlais

While I was entering the above Taylor opened the scoring for Oxford

It would probably help if we actually played with a striker or two.

Having said that, Sam Finley has just equalised for us seconds before half time!

I think Langlais the 16? year old on the bench is the only fit striker at the club with so many of them being loaned out

Aaron Collins is a striker, but you wouldn’t know it as Barton rarely plays him as such.

Thanks for that info thought he was another attacking MF

Feeling somewhat baffled watching on I Follow live text the score wen to 0 - 0 FT then it came up that McGuane had score Oxfords 2nd

Luca Hoole replaces Josh Grant in the 67th minute

Bodin and Forde and Agyei on, Sykes, Whyte and Taylor off 69th minute

Oxford have just made their 4 substitution Hanson on for McGuane

Anderson and Coutts off Collins and Spence on 82 mins

    Anthony Evans 87th min 2 - 2

    2-2. Back to the Mem.

Sounded like a good tenacious performance by the Gas, we came under a lot of pressure but hung on in there for a deserved equaliser.

And now we have a replay, thought they had done away with replays with extra time and the dreaded penalties

I listened to the game and I wouldn't say we deserved the equaliser. Yeah we hung in there but that is because Oxford failed to take their chances. They hit the woodwork 3 times in that 2nd half and missed 2 sitters. Luckily for us that happened of course.

Ah yes but you have to stay in the game to give yourself a late chance and we did so - and took the late chance!

With over 30 league places between the two teams that’s a pretty good away result for us.
