FA Cup 4th Round draw: Liverpool v Bristol Rovers or Norwich City. Now there’s an incentive for the replay! My youngest son and my best mate are Liverpool fans so I desperately want us to beat the Canaries.
My sister married into a Liverpool family so would be great if we get through to face them. I just want us to go for it against Norwich and have no regrets.
today's line up v Barnsley Cox, Connolly, Crama, Grant, Thomas, Vale, McCormick, Evans, Martin, Brown. Subs Ward, Gibbons, Hunt, Hoole, Sinclair, Collins, Marquis. No old boys to come back and haunt us this week FGR playing Harrogate today, what sort of reception will Belshaw get I wonder 12th minute first corner of the match goes Barnsley's way followed by a second a minute later 21st minute yellow card for McAtee Daniel Hargraves has said Rovers are on top how long before we concede 43rd minute Devante Cole 1 - 0 1 minute extra time to be played HT 1 - 0 Thomas just missed the chance to draw level in injury time
No changes by either side at HT Brown has missed several good chances to score and give us the lead or draw level, we desperately need a top quality striker at this or championship level McCormick seems to be playing well and creating some good chances 1st substitution Cosgrove on Russell off 66th minute McCormick and Brown off Hunt Marquis on 2nd Yellow card of the match Mael De Gevigney 68th minute Chris Martin 1 - 1 assisted by Evans, Martin almost gets the second but it was saved and Marquis following up has the rebound saved by the keeper
73rd minute O'Keefe restores Barnsley's lead 2 - 1 79th minute Herbie Kane yellow carded 81st minute Connolly and Thomas off Gibbons and Collins on Cadden and Lopataon on McAtee and O'keefe off 88th minute Vale hits the post 6 minutes to get the equaliser and winner, well we can dream can't we 90+3 minutes Watters on Cole of FT 2 - 1
Yawn. Same old story, same old Rovers. Absolutely no chance of getting near the playoffs this season - we’re far too inconsistent.
Today's line up v Norwich Cox, Taylor, Connor, Grant, Thomas, Vale, Finley, Evans, McCormick, Martin, Collins Subs Hall, Gibbons, Gordon, Hunt, Hoole, Shaw, Sinclair, Brown, Marquis 21st minute Luke McCormick Rovers 1 - 0 26th minute Danny Batth down injured match delayed, Batth unable to continue replaced by Marcelino Nunez 42nd minute Finley yellow carded, possibly for dissent 3 minutes extra time to be played Thomas misses a really good chance to make it 2 just before HT HT 1 - 0
53rd minute Sara 1 - 1 Norwich have just been awarded a penalty after a foul by Connor Taylor 58th minute which Idah has converted 1 - 2, cant see us retaking the lead again 61st minute Rowe Yellow carded 64th minute Barnes replaces Idah Thomas's miss at the end of the first half looks to be being costly Hunt on McCormick off 68th minute Blackpool Saturday's opponents are also losing 2 - 1 to Nottingham Forest in tonight's cup replay 79th minute Finley and Collins off Marquis and Sinclair on 9 minutes plus extra time to win a trip to Anfield 87th minute Kenny McClean 1 - 3 Blackpool v Forest 2 - 2 7 minutes extra time to be played
93rd minute Fisher on Stacey off 91st minute Daniel Hargraves said some believe some are heading for the exits since then othing from him I presume he headed for the exit FT 1 - 3 Well I suppose we can now try and climb up the league towards the playoff places but I am notholdig my breath Blackpool and Forest have played a 103 minutes and the match finished 2 - 2 hopefully they will tire Blackpool out for when we play them on Saturday, Hopefully it is more extra time before the penalties Just started extra time
Thought the ref and his assistant on the Dribuild stand side were awful yesterday, travelled into Bristol on the bus with 3 Blackpool supporters, asked them if they knew how much they paid the officials to get all the decisions go their way, he replied their supporters were asking the same question because they thought they were poor as well
Tonight's line up v Exeter Cox, Crama, Taylor, Finley, Hunt, Thomas, Evans, Grant, McCormick, Collins, Marquis Subs Ward, Connolly, Gibbons, Gordon, Hoole, Vale, Brown No Martin tonight as he is ill??, could last Saturdays appearance be his final one
The BBC has our formation as a back three with Finley as part of it. Please tell me that’s not true!!!
Playing a back three is like giving the opposition wingers freedom of the pitch, we don't mark that well and we seem to be conceding goals from crosses so why persist with this formation. Can't see where our goals are coming from tonight without Martin in the side I follow have him down as a defender as well why when we have 2CBs on the bench Looks like Exeter have come to defend 3 corners in the first 8 minutes Connor Taylor just went down and now looks to being subbed and now is by Connolly 12th minute Cox scores for Exeter 0 - 1 now only 11 points clear of the bottom 4
