That shows that you don't have to be very good to get out of the Championship, just have a bit of luck at the right time and hang in there....

Good luck to Hull although I’m not convinced they deserve to be PL bound finishing 10 points behind Millwall.

I think they will come straight back down but parachute payments will be good business nonetheless.

Reactions: Noggin The Nog
Didn't watch the match and thought Boro were certs as I thought they were the best team we played this season.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't we beat Hull 3-1 both home and away?
Should give us a little hope moving into next season.

Delighted Hull won. The Southampton/Middlesborough games next season should be a bit lively.

Celtic do the Scottish double to upset all the haters. Good stuff,

Leinster lose another Champions Cup final. At least they got there which is more than a lot of other clubs can say. Thats 9 appearances in the final with 4 victories. French clubs have won the last 6 tournaments. That trend is worrying for the rest of UK/Ire.

Have no allegience to either team but a season without being tonked at home by Boro would have been nice.

Worth noting Hull just avoided relegation last season and were under a transfer embargo yet still made it ahead of clubs with astronomical budgets by Championship standards. Excellent recruitment using free transfers and a manager who is tactically very astute, something we don't seem capable of at present...

Would like to see Stockport promoted, nice stadium and pubs nearby
Went there as part of my half-hearted attempt at the 92 and seemed a fun little town. Very lively in the Shameless-esque pub beforehand.

Bolton is as bad an away ground as it gets. **** 2000-ish generic nonsense miles from anything.

I've never forgiven Stockport nor their lanky streak striker Kevin Francis (who was offside) for ruining our big cup adventure in 1994.

Our cup record has never recovered and we remain in PTSD since that day.

So Spurs or West Ham for the drop.... West Ham because of the entitlement of their fans and Spurs for the entitlement of their fans and for the biggest laugh.....
