Hundred miles an hour game at Hampden, St Mirren retake the lead against Celtic in the cup final. The new Celtic manager will need 24 hr close protection if it stays like this, they're all over the place.

And who needs 2nd and 3rd kits, when you've got stripes v hoops <laugh>

Annoying I didn’t know it was happening. Would’ve enjoyed it. This manager will do well to see in the new year.

It was a good game to watch....fast tempo, loads of meaty tackles which wouldn't go unpunished down south.

The manager and the board will need to go into hiding after that, the Green Brigade will not be happy. Nancy is so far out of his depth - the Celtic fans I know were already fuming about his appointment before he lost his first three games, the only Celtic boss in history to manage that feat. O'Neill should be sitting next to his phone waiting for the call again.

I’ve just looked up his record - nothing at all of consequence to European football. I started to think that Celtic were nuts to appoint him, but then realised than no one seriously good would want to manage in the SPL, unless they were at the end of their career and wanted a decent payday.

Well done St Mirren.

Strange choice when you look at his career and it’s not like he’s young. I guess you can’t not appoint the 2024 MLS manager of the year.

Just bought tickets for Wealdstone v Boreham on Boxing Day, where my 7 year-old grandson will be one of the mascots, along with the rest of his team. It's a perfect fixture for me, being in walking distance. Should be fun.
I used to really enjoy going with my R's Dad to see our local team, Andover FC, play their home games at the Walled Meadow in town. Biggest footballing events I recall were defeating Hendon 4-3 in the FA Cup, then losing 1-0 to league team Gillingham in the next round. At half-time whilst Dad hobnobbed with his business buddies, I was given adequate mullah to purchase a Mars bar, a bag of crisps (with the little blue paper salt sachet) and a fizzy Cherry drink. I remember a little old lady who always stood behind the home goal and incessantly yelled, "Keep them out Andover".

Yeah I realised that soon after I posted that he was on loan from West Brom. It was that he scored that crucial goal v Leicester that confused me. Silly old git.
Oddly I always think he was on loan from Leicester.
Like Sinclair Armstrong, I always thought he'd be better than he ever was and that at some point it would all click into place.

Off to see the Phoenix soon
Lost last week to the jets
Was the smallest Phoenix crowd ever
Only 3030 people
First half was fun
Could have been 3 2 in the first 5 minutes
