Not a sovereign country but a great football story. They finished second to New Zealand in World Cup qualification so will be in the 'intercontinetal playoff' to make it to the real thing though they have to beat Bolivia and then someone else quite good.

We were well beaten last night - it was almost as if some of the boys were ‘star struck’: they knew England were (far) better ‘man to man’ and it took us going 3-0 down before they came to their senses.

However, the game was over…..

Let’s not forget that Harry wasn’t playing - could have been 5 or 6 ….. <cheers>

Eire lose 1-0 after defending on their own six yard line for 91 minutes. Defended well, saved a penalty that should never have been given but pretty dire overall. Icelandic dentist bloke should be sacked.
 
New manager bounce in full effect at Kenilworth Road. JWL 0-2 Mansfield. Nahki Wells missed a penalty. Physio enthusiast Tyler Roberts scored one for Mansfield.


Duke-McKenna scored for Harrogate again. Doing well there.

Jack Robinson own goal helps Birmingham lose.
