So we play either Southampton or Brentford who meet tomorrow...
Brentford v Southampton is tonight in the other semi and apparently the final is on the ground of the winner of that. Would be tempted to go but can’t see when the final is meant to be unless it’s not been announced yet.
Potentially a fine chance to tick off the new Brentford Lego box as we aren’t playing there in the league any time soon.
Hope it's Brentford. I'll definitely go if it is.
I've been to the new Brentford stadium to see London Irish. It's a nice little ground, handily situated for some good pubs.
The Express Tavern on the north end of Kew Bridge is a great pub.Hope it's Brentford. I'll definitely go if it is.

Brentford 2-0 up at Southampton into last ten minutes...

I'd like to able to give a player-by-player analysis of the U-21s tonight, but I'm hampered by not knowing who was who in all cases.
Anyway, a few bullet points....
Overall, a good win and some decent performances, but none of them really looked ready to command a starting place in the first team.
- Shepperd was very good in goal
- Esquerdinha looked decent without being outstanding
- The CBs were pretty good, but got pulled out position now and then.
- Alfie Tuck was tidy
- Morgan was probably our best player
- Bennie and Sutton were threatening on the wings
- Kolli was poor
- The Irish lad who replaced Kolli was quick and looked to have something about him.
A really enjoyable evening.
