It maybe that I was sober & wearing sunglasses but Saturdays game just felt painful, not the score but its rhythm, so stop start.
Water breaks after 4 minutes, every mistake causing a player to drop to the floor and wait for a whistle, constant breaks in play.
I've seen American football matches with more flow.
I just want to see 90 minutes of football, instead we got 106 minutes of breaks.

Thank you. I found Saturdays game totally dispiriting, and certainly not because of the result. As you highlighted the stop start of the game, the attitude of the players to each other and the ref, the crap reffing which we see every game, the continual moaning and gesticulating from both managers….a game where the terror of losing now dominates everything.

I’m beginning to hate it.
