That idiot, Clinton ‘To Be Fair’ Morrison, has just discussed Wolves’ performance at Old Trafford last week, describing about 4-5 of their players as being outstanding. Surely if everyone is outstanding then nobody is?

Sure seems that way, Spanish players much quicker, England are always standing off letting them pass the ball and getting shots away. Not much from us, apart from that shot against the crossbar and they almost grabbed a 2nd with a shot glancing off the post just before HT. Looks like Lauren James "punishment" is over, she should have been brought on earlier when things were obviously not working.
Wouldn't necessarily call it route one but they've had some success with long through balls, particularly in the semi final. Spain are technically better than England.
Maybe in years gone by. Definitely not true now.
The Spanish women are most definitely technically better though.
Weigman got it badly wrong first half, but has changed it now and England look a bit better.

This England team is nowhere near as good as the one that won the Euros, with three players missing.

They would have been better still if 12 of the 15 players who complained about their coach last year at the Euros weren’t omitted from the squad.

Well done Spain, by far the better team on the day. The game was not, in my opinion, a great advert for women’s football though.
