League Cup - Man Utd 3 Charlton 0 - two late goals from Rashford (why oh why wasn't he used more against France) made the final score somewhat less respectable for Charlton. Just think, that could have been us playing at Old Trafford! Unlike us at Fleetwood, at least Charlton made a brave fight of it.

Just watched the highlights after my morning swim and breakfast. Why oh why didn't Southgate play Rashford alongside Kane against France, or at least brought him on earlier so he could have taken the 2nd penalty rather than Kane, against Lloris who knew Kane's penalty taking strategy better than anyone? Not that blasting the ball into orbit was a strategy!
I agree that Rashford should have started against France, but Kane was always taking that 2nd penalty.
