I don’t think they will keep pace with Citeh but at least Gooners keeping it interesting. Scousers could get a thumping next week.

Another nuts ref, adding 3 minutes to the official 5 mins injury time to give Liverpool a chance. Thought Arteta was going to have an aneurysm.

That time added was about right, with so many stoppages.

To be honest I didn’t see much of the game, was making dinner, just from about 87 minutes onwards, the boy was shouting the score to me. If the fourth official adds 5 minutes does the ref tell him ‘I’m adding an extra three’? I didn’t see 3 minutes wasted during injury time. Most likely I’m missing something about how they calculate this.

What a special player. I can't remember ever supporting a player who has left us as much as I support him. Absolutely class act on and off the pitch - worked hard, played beautiful football, as humble as humble gets and even left with class. So glad to see him performing well and fingers crossed he gets and England call up.

The ref had to go over to the touchline to speak to both managers and then the 4th official. It wasn't clear what about.
Apparently this was the extra added on time.

Yeh, Eze for England and very soon. If not then Eze for Nigeria and very soon, plus I'll be shouting for them at the WC, if Nigeria have reached the finals!
