Fifa has ordered Russia to complete their upcoming matches without their flag, anthem and as the Football Union of Russia in neutral territory, following the invasion of Ukraine.
Several nations have announced that they will refuse to play Russia, including England, as well as Poland, the Czech Republic and Sweden.
World Cup 2022 play-offs would see Russia face Poland then either the Czech Republic or Sweden if they win - and are scheduled to be played in March.
Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a military invasion of neighbouring Ukraine on Thursday.
"Today's Fifa decision is totally unacceptable," said Polish football association president Cezary Kulesza.
"We are not interested in participating in this game of appearances. Our stance remains intact: Polish National Team will not play with Russia, no matter what the name of the team is."

Having never liked Chelsea and always had a soft spot for Liverpool, todays result, combined with with world events, was a fitting result. Well done Liverpool.
