Good to see Ward-Prowse getting another chance tonight. The best dead-ball exponent in the league and never misses a game for Southampton. Not sure what he can prove against San Marino, though.

Is he playing 2 holding midfielders in Rice & Henderson? If so that's a bit overkill against the lowest ranked team in Europe........

Or is he expecting one or both to do box to box? Not sure what to make of that........

Edit.......Stupid me was looking at the list of subs....doh

This could clear it up....

SMS Message: Re Peter, 19:59... I'm reliably informed by my son that San Marino's current home kit is half blue, half white, so they've worn their away kit of white. Hence England are in all blue.. Hope that helps! from Anne, Beckenham

SMS Message: Re: Peter, Oxford. San Marino's home kit is light blue so that would clash with white. Their away kit being white means England can't wear white against that either. from Adam, Alnwick

Ward-Prowse ... Calvert-Lewin

I remember a time when if you had a double-barrelled name you were posh white folk.

Now you are probably a black sports star. (Unless you are a no star **** called Wright-Phillips.)

What a mis-match....... 40 minutes played an England have had 20 attempts on goal..... A waste of everyone's time......

I see Dykes is playing for Scotland tonight. Seems to be getting mentioned a bit on the BBC live text feed. Hope he does well. A goal for his country would improve his confidence with us.
