Dykes subbed (not injured Col!) just as the Israelis equalised. Commentators saying he had a good game, held up well and won most of the balls pumped up to him but unfortunately spent most of the game with his back to goal as he was given very little to attack by the wingers

No idea what's going on there....do they not have VAR in this competitiom? England should be 1 up already
They don't have it in this game, not sure if it applies to the tournament as a whole. Cost England a goal there, but I'm still happier without it.
Lovely to see the sad faces on the Icelandic players. Only one team was ever interested in trying to win the game. Ridiculous offside decision against Kane. An early England goal would have opened the game up, which would have suited us. Having said that, England must get used to playing against a lot of sides who put all their players behind the ball and are desperate to escape with a draw. Gomez must start to eradicate these errors or he's in danger of becoming another Stones. Although it would have been daylight robbery had Iceland scored that penalty at the death. Always nice to see England finding a way to win.
The sensible thing for their clubs to do as punishment would be to loan them out to us for the season. Why not?
Both have been removed from the England squad for tomorrow night's game. You're on the brink of breaking into the England squad as a young player and, between two internationals, you decide this is a good idea.....during covid!! My God......thick as mince!
