Lithuanian premier league Hegelman ( 2nd in league) v Sudova (3rd). Match in Raudonvarius, near Kaunas. Free entry. About 350-400 here but lots of colours on display. Beers etc available in supermarket next to the ground but you are not meant to bring booze into the ground. So we sat like winos on the grass outside. And smuggled a half bottle of brandy in.

Loving this one and it hasn’t even started yet.

The **** bastard Football League and our Sky overlords were meant to announce the TV fixtures for the first bit of the season today but nothing yet.


For those not going to the Preston game, all the 3pm games on the first day are on Sky+ which I hadn’t realised

I know this is not popular to say, but somebody has to say well done, Chelsea for getting to the World Club Championship Final.

I'd rather it be a home nation! (Now I'll put my bulletproof vest on and wait!)

PSG got shot of M'Bappe and the other big names and are now a proper team. Perhaps a lesson for Real that Galactico's who think they're too big to work for their teammates are a liability. Hard to bet against PSG in the Final...
