And now he's just scored in the FA Cup final.

On the BBC, NO mention of QPR typical!!

Thought City was poor, too negative & slow in build up bit like us at times & crossing was poor, Henderson MoM but should he had been sent off I reckon so

Pleased Palace won as continue to dislike City for what they represent.

However, I would feel very aggrieved over 'handling outside the area gate' if that happened against QPR.

I thought it was a red and the verbal manipulations required to make it not so are suspicious.

Well. What comes around goes around. Not sure about the verbal manipulations. Having regard to all the relevant factors it was a decision that was open to the ref or whoever decided it. So nice not to hear Guardiola's victory speech how brilliant they would have been against ten men. And how fantastic they are against all the odds and the hatred they have to endure. At a cost of several billion they bloody well should be.

Pleased for Palace and Eze, but the VAR non-interventions were bizarre. It's 100% a red card for handling outside the box and the fella definitely got a touch on the ball for the penalty that was given. Stupid challenge, though.

Will be interesting to see if Palace cash in on one or 2 of their high value assets and use the cash to bolster their squad with up and coming starlets. They will need to add to the squad now that they have European commitments.
What a great position to be in and here’s hoping they cash in on Eze (for our sakes)

As a neutral (for Palace), I would hate to see their team broken up and the club cash in.
Clubs ambitions should be to progress on the field, unfortunately sometimes success is just seen as a shop window.
 
The problem for any team that is successful is they will always be picked off by bigger teams that can offer higher wages or higher level of football. Palace will be cornered by FFP which will limit their scope in recruiting as well so it will be sell to buy cheaper. They should enjoy their success as in the modern game it will be fleeting, look at Leicester now less than ten years after being champions they've had two relegations, Portsmouth and Wigan didn't fare too well after their successes...
