Surely at his advanced age Colin is in an at risk category (chronic eyebrow deficiency syndrome?) and has to be shielded? They’ll have to turn off all pitch side microphones as all he does during a match is scream foul mouthed abuse at officials.
Maybe the whole width of his foot......it really was clear cut and I'm surprised that the linesman didn't spot it from 50 yards away..
Turned off the football at half-time in spurs match as it was awful........ Are we looking at football in the future where it's for tv purposes only and don't need crowds? If so think I'll give it a miss.... Love the comment on LFW'S twitter feed about improving the morale of the nation with football coming back and someone has posted about going to the pubs to avoid football....
Glad football is back but just can’t get into these matches at the moment & not bothered if a watch them or not
I’m still mildly enthused by the prospect of at least one of Watford or Villa going down but it’s a particularly dull Prem season so can’t see myself tuning in for many more of these half-paced games. It might improve as fitness picks up but equally playing in July after a heavy run of games is unlikely to be conducive to exciting football. Think the Championship will be all sorts of nonsense with teams having to play various youth players and others on short term contracts. Not terribly exciting to have nothing to play for at all assuming we don’t beat Charlton and Fulham but it could be beneficial to give Shodipo and others more time on the pitch. Not sure that warrants a tenner of anyone’s money but I’ll probably just about drag myself to pay it.
I don't really like Man Utd, but they are nice to watch with Pogba and Fernandes in midfield and a top three with a lot of pace. Most enjoyable game I've watched since the restart, having missed the City games.
We should have 1970s canned sitcom laughter at our home games. Maybe the team could come out to the old "Terry & June" theme tune?
