Sociedad topped their CL group. If today’s performance is anything to go by it must have been a crap group, very insipid team.

Real Sociedad. 0-0 v Real Betis. Great stadium but Athletic Bilbao way ahead in terms of passion.

Still unsure if they have VAR in La Liga. In a later game on the telly they showed the bank of TVs with people staring at them, but it wasn’t referred to at all in the 3 games we saw, 2 live. Which is excellent, games really flowed.
