He's seen as some sort of talisman for the team, although I don't think they'll need him tonight. Scotland are doing really well at the moment, have won 10 qualifiers on the bounce I think and are full of confidence. Cyprus are what they are, and although no games are easy at international level, Scotland should win this which will put them on the verge of qualification.
Up front they've got Che Adams and Ryan Christie along with Dykes and Shankland, plus plenty goals come from midfield with John McGinn, Scott McTominay and Callum McGregor, as well as their CBs being pretty handy with their heads at set pieces.
A whole different game on Tuesday night though, where I'd expect a full Hampden to make lots of noise but hard to see anything but an England win, although they have seen off both Spain and Norway recently so it certainly won't be easy.
Definitely won't be easy, especially when you factor in that Scotland will raise everything by 10% against the hated English.
Plus, I wouldn't have thought we'll see anything like England's full strength side following their Euro qualifier and their injuries.
Do you think the Scots will go full strength?
