Exactly, goes to show what you can do on limited resources but while we still have the same bunch running the club and our DoF floundering about we can look forward to another season of misery.

Yes, you are correct......... our limited resources are aligned to our football brains trust.
Hopefully we can correct that with a bit of movement of deck chairs.

For all we might pi55 take, what we’d give to have our team run and managed like Luton.

I’m no fan of them by any means but I hope they prove to be annoying disrupters of the PL.

Despite their best intentions, our owners have gambled - lost, gambled again and lost. They’ve made continuously dire decisions and left us with a club that’s unsaleable, on its knees both financially and operationally, wholly reliant on the continued charity of its owners just to keep the gates open.

Really cannot see anything but another relegation fight for 23/24.
I echo those sentiments. I'm not a fan of Luton, obviously, and I wouldn't say hate them, but I don't like them. But, for all of our belittling and insults towards the Oompa Loompas, you've got to admit, with a lump in the throat, they did what had to be done.
As IWAWR said, "what we’d give to have our team run and managed like Luton."
For years we've been a basket case and will continue to be as long as we have a management that appears, to me at least, to accept that we are just good enough for the Championship.
I can't say what goes on in the meetings at HQ, but we are stagnant and hence will go nowhere, fast. Sorry, that should be, BACKWARDS fast.
If the management aren't up to getting us moving forwards, then WE NEED A NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM!!

Sure, the rest of the remaining Championship teams will also want better results next season, but I think we've waited long enough and change needs to happen if we are to get anywhere.
Easier said than done, yeah, a cliche, but apt. If Luton can rise from Conference League in such a short time with the limited players and resources that they had, then how is it that we were lingering on the precipice of relegation. We had/have good players. Hmm, what else may be the problem?
I, and I'm certain all our posters, readers and all other QPR supporters, can't bear to go through another season of mediocrity and endure heart palpitations as we stress over, once again, trying to avoid relegation.
Most posters on here are borderline geriatrics (you know who you are). Please, spare us the anxiety HQ. You're only "killing your fanbase". Think about it!

Don’t know about Leeds but Leicester are in real trouble. Half their failed squad out of contract, massively inflated PL winners premium wages, huge FFP problems, they have to sell their decent in contract players like Maddison and Barnes, weak leadership. If they don’t make the most of the corrupt losers parachute bonus they could be screwed for a long time.

What are the bet Leicester being put for sale… probably short odds.

Ole mate might try to get out while he can.
Obviously not as shrewd as the old man.

Their leadership definitely lacking. However, they have a few players that I can see other PL clubs not touching, but being far too good for the champ - like Daka, Ndidi and Pereira (because of injuries), and even Vardy.

If they get a half decent manager in they should be fine.

Pressure on to bounce straight back. They should do it, but the owner, who has clearly lost his way, has already written off £194m of loans, they lost £92m last year, even after being in Europe, and relegation wage cuts rumoured to be 35-50%- even if 50% Vardy would be on £70k a week.

They had an odd business model which involved qualifying for Europe every season and making at least one huge player sale every summer. They offered high wages to good prospects to keep them at the club to cash in. I’d trade places to have won the league and cup in the last few years in a heartbeat, but they have also ****ed up hugely when they should have been set for decades. Losing £90m with income of over £200m is an achievement in itself.
