If Arbroath beat Kilmarnock tonight they will be the first part time team in the Scottish Prem for many years. Their manager Dick Campbell is 69, assisted by his twin brother. They have no intention of going full time up if they make it.
If they can do it, why not us?
I am still hoping that Hudds nick second place from Plastic Hair Bournemush!
Killie turn it around![]()
Well they didn't do it tonight, and Killie go up as champions. They do have a second bite of the cherry though, through the play-offs. As they've finished second, they'll need to wait until the winner of the 3rd v 4th matches, then play a two legged affsir against them.....win that, then it's another two-legged affair against the second bottom team in the PL (currently St Johnstone)....
Campbell said he’d had to cancel his holidays just in case…….Well they didn't do it tonight, and Killie go up as champions. They do have a second bite of the cherry though, through the play-offs. Probably why a lot of my ancestors left the area, a long, long time ago.I've done a few sites in and around Arbroath, it can be very bleak in the winter with the wind and rain driving in off the North Sea

Thought your ancestors invaded a long, long time ago.......![]()

Bayern, and not even an especially good vintage of Bayern, win tenth straight league title. I love German football, but its hardly competitive in the top division.
Serie A, though not great quality anymore, is a tight race this year. AC Milan a point ahead of Inter with 3 games to go.None of the top European leagues are imo.
Premier league is pretty predictable too I'm afraid, barring Leicester's miracle. You can toss a coin between Liverpool and City to see who the champions will be for the next decade I fearNone of the top European leagues are imo.
