You have to feel sorry for the San Marino players, they're so far out of their depth that it's almost embarrassing.... maybe FIFA need to start looking at preliminary rounds for the very smallest of nations so that maybe they can improve their quality by winning a few games and qualify for the main qualifying competition......... these sort of games does nobody any favors........

That's a little unfair.
Southgate said he asks to play every game, as do all the players. He doesn't always get his wish.
Wouldn't you have wanted to start such an easy game?

Bloody right to, not often you get the chance to score a hateful, he could overtake Rooney tonight he if plays 90 minutes ! Shouldn't be playing the game if you don't want to become England's all time top scorer !

Might be a little unfair.

I think in his boots I’d be thinking more about what Conte wants. It’s going to be interesting seeing how that goes.

I reckon Conte would want him playing and scoring as many goals as possible.
 
We should do a charity auction to play in goal or get twenty minutes off the bench in these games. Win your very own real England cap. Would make millions.
 
That was an nice goal by Smith Rowe........ good touch by Abraham to set him up...... He's someone who could do with some goals at this level.....

Yep. Poor miss by Abraham, but that was a nice touch to set up the goal.
Pleased for Smith Rowe. Yet another very good young player.
