Just watched the last 20 minutes of Swansea v Sheff Utd, piss poor, hard to see either of them seriously challenging on this performance. 0-0 bore draw...
Just seen Match of The Day. After that Palace game we may also need to keep Dieng under lock and key.
Couldn’t make Hull yesterday but going today to see Portimonense V Gil Vicente in the Portuguese Premiership £13:50 for the ticket, 35 degrees and no shade. Vamos Portimonense
So City, after spending all those squillions still manage to lose their first game of the season. 100 billion on Grealish and he still couldn't save them. Just goes to show all that money for todays top players is a joke. We had a player worth a fraction of that save us a goal because he had the right attitude. Thats worth more than anything City will pay.
Outplayed today, they desperately need a proper striker. Kane fits the bill. Hope they don't get him.
Towards the end of last November Citeh we’re 13th in the league. Playing largely without Aguerro they won the PL by 12 points. I wouldn’t read too much into this result.
Don't you just love Scottish football maybe Gordon Brown hadn't paid the electricity bill Raith Rovers v Dunfermline Scottish Championship The Fife derby between Raith Rovers and Dunfermline had to be abandoned after a power failure at Stark's Park. A floodlight problem delayed kick-off in the Scottish Championship fixture, while many supporters were locked out with turnstyles inoperable. And play was brought to a half after 14 minutes, with no electricity in the stands housing the 4,000 fans. With the lighting down, the scheduled 19:45 kick-off was deemed a safety risk.
I remember that happening down the Rangers circa mid eighties against Forest in the League Cup. It was just before kick off and the stadium plunged into darkness. I think it might've been the year ( 1986 ) we got to the final. The game was abandoned and played the following week.
