I think he was banking on Tuchel doing his usual timid approach in finals. To be fair, as soon as Chelsea saw what was in front of them they made the most of the space, could be further ahead.

Sterling shouldn't have started, as he's been in poor form for weeks.
Aguero on for Sterling.
 
If his time at City comes to an end without them winning the Champions League, Pep, with all the talent and money at his disposal, should be seen as having failed. He has to shoulder the blame for tonight, if they can’t score in the next few minutes. Agree with Col, Guardiola out thought himself.

Yep. I missed the first half, but this was a massive ego flop by Pep.
Picking Sterling.
No holding midfielder.
No centre forward.
