Leicester leading, keeping Liverpool out of the CL, but early days.

I might have got this wrong but I think if Leicester beat Spurs by 7 or 8 goals, Liverpool would also need to win by at least 4 against Palace. I’d enjoy that, if only for the implosion of Super League Spuds.

Seven of the bottom 8 in the PL, including all three relegated teams, have English managers. Of the clubs above them, it’s only Villa, in 11th, with an Englishman. Where’s the next England manager coming from?

Don’t think so, it’s the usual quota, unless the winner of the CL finishes fifth. So if Chelsea win the CL but finish fifth, England gets five clubs, but if they finish in the top four it’s only four.

What the **** is the ‘European Conference’? I thought it was a new name for the Europa League, but apparently not. Another special losers competition for the mediocre?
