I completely agree with you. The decision against Son yesterday, in particular, was just plain wrong and underscores that VAR can only favour the defender just when we’re supposed to be finding ways to make the game more exciting.

I’m going to be in France at the weekend when the WBA game is televisualisificated.

Question: how should I spend my time whilst the match is on in order to maximise our superstitious advantage; what do my fellow Not606ers think? Should I watch the game on a device, just follow progress on the Beeb, or avoid until it’s all over?

I think you should spend the entire 90 minutes shagging (you can have a 15 minute break at half-time). Then if we win you have to do that for every game.

Spend it listening to a Jeremy Corbyn speech, you'll be comatose in no time at all and when you wake up you never know, we might have won...
