That's fab..... I was 6 at the time so don't have a lot of recollection about that season although I was at Wembley and was taken to most home games, my late father would lift me over the turnstiles on the South Africa road terrace and sit me on a crash barrier to watch game..... Anyway had a look at that twitter post and the last part of the film was a few days later against Bournemouth and Boscombe Athletic as they were in those days, ended 4-0 to the R's in front of a crowd 21558, not bad for a 3rd division side.... Happy Days....
Thanks. Caught the 2nd half. Straight red card via VAR for a Brentford player towards the end when they were 2-0 down. I actually thought it was a harsh decision. The Tottenham player came to tackle him and he put his studs into the Tottenham player on the foot he was simply taking his next step with, on the turn. Totally unintentional. Should be yellow.
It might have been a yellow 10 years ago but not now,it left him with a nasty gash the length of his shin, definitely a red
I see that on Saturday WRDC have agreed with the FA that they can put out a side made up entirely of players from their U23 & U18 squads for their FA Cup tie against Chorley, due to the COVID virus that has hit their first team squad and forced the closure of their training ground.......
You couldn't make this up, Crawley trolling Leeds bringing on TOWIE star Mark Wright in stoppage time...
